Yearbook Covers

2022-2023 Innovation Lab High School

My junior year of high school, I submitted my design to the yearbook cover art competition at ILHS (right image). My design received the most votes from the Yearbook club members. The yearbook editors added text on top of my image and used the background for the back cover (left image). 

2018-2019 Kenmore Middle School Cover

I was asked to design my middle school's yearbook cover in 7th grade by the teacher in charge of yearbooks. I used art markers to draw the cover (right image), and then it was sent to a company that digitalized my image to be printed out (left image). We had recently learned about graffiti art in my art class at the time, inspiring me to add a brick background. In each of the corners, I included the "4 pillars" of our school: Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Engaged.
