Photo Montage

For this project, we had to put together a photo collage showing a subject performing an activity that takes place over a series of time.

Final Montage

I photographed my sibling at a family friend's retirement party (she is not very social or fond of large gatherings). In my montage, I used a black and white filter on moments where she appeared bored; purple where she was on her phone; and slightly more vibrant, natural colors when she became more confident and sociable (and put away her phone) as the party progressed. Overall, I wanted to capture the different moods she would switch between.

Practice Montage

In the practice montage, I wanted to make the subject's hair the central focus, with the guitar's stemming outward to represent the music traveling outward.
